Case #1: The Law Office of Gregory P. Olson is pleased to announce that the Government Accountability Office granted Mr. Olson’s client’s motion to dismiss a government bid protest. The bid protest targeted a successful Small Business Innovative Research Phase II contract awarded to FOMS, Inc. of San Diego, California by the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) for the research and development of optical fiber manufacturing in space. Mr. Olson and his client are thrilled that the Phase II SBIR contract with NASA can now move forward.

Case #2: The Law Office of Gregory P. Olson has secured a dismissal in a litigation matter alleging negligent misrepresentation against a California licensed real estate agent in connection with a residential purchase agreement. Mr. Olson asserted valid defenses on behalf of the agent under California real estate law which secured the immediate dismissal.

Case #3: The Court of Appeal, Fourth Appellate District has upheld a trial court’s judgment in favor of client of Law Office of Gregory P. Olson. The underlying case involved a judgment lien in favor of the client. The judgment lien was obtained as a result of a judgment in an unrelated breach of contract matter. The favorable ruling from the Court of Appeal will allow Mr. Olson’s client to pursue funds deposited with the Superior Court to which the lien attached.
